TSA PreCheck® & TWIC® Enrollment Services at Drug & Alcohol Testing Center
Drug & Alcohol Testing Center is an authorized enrollment location for TSA PreCheck® and the Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC®). We provide convenient, in‑clinic enrollment services so travelers and transportation workers can complete their required in‑person appointments close to home.
All TSA programs are managed by TSA and its enrollment partner (IDEMIA). Enrollment decisions, background checks, and ID cards are handled directly by TSA/IDEMIA, not by Drug & Alcohol Testing Center.
TSA PreCheck®
TSA PreCheck® is a Trusted Traveler Program that helps low‑risk travelers move more quickly through airport security. Approved travelers can use TSA PreCheck® lanes at participating airports and typically:
Keep shoes, belts, and light jackets on
Leave laptops and compliant liquids in their carry‑on bags
Spend less time in security lines
Key points:
New enrollment: $76.75 for 5 years (paid to TSA’s enrollment partner)
Online renewals: $58.75 for 5 years; in‑person renewals: $66.75 for 5 years
You start your application online, then complete fingerprints and ID verification in person at an enrollment center like ours
How to enroll for TSA PreCheck® at our location:
1. Go to the official TSA PreCheck® enrollment website (IDEMIA).
2. Start a new enrollment or renewal application online and choose our clinic as your enrollment center.
3. Review the list of acceptable identity and citizenship documents and bring them to your appointment.
4. Arrive at Drug & Alcohol Testing Center at your scheduled time. Our staff will complete your fingerprints and verify your documents.
All application questions, program rules, and final approvals are handled directly by TSA and its enrollment partner. We cannot change decisions, fees, or program requirements.
TWIC®
TWIC® is required for many workers who need unescorted access to secure areas of the nation’s maritime facilities and vessels, including longshoremen, truck drivers, port employees, and certain U.S. Coast Guard‑licensed mariners. TSA conducts a security threat assessment and issues the credential.
Key points:
Standard TWIC® enrollment fee is set by TSA.
A reduced rate of $93.00 may be available if you have a qualifying comparable credential (for example, a CDL with hazardous materials endorsement (HME) or a FAST card).
If you choose the reduced rate, your TWIC® expiration date will align with your comparable credential’s expiration.
How to enroll for TWIC® at our location:
1. Go to the official TWIC® enrollment website (IDEMIA).
2. Start your TWIC® application and select our clinic as your enrollment center.
3. Review which identity and work‑authorization documents you must bring.
4. Arrive at Drug & Alcohol Testing 24/7 for your appointment; we will collect fingerprints, your photo, and verify documents for TSA.
Questions about card usage, facility access rules, or maritime requirements should be directed to your employer, facility security officer, or the U.S. Coast Guard.
What to Bring to Your TSA Appointment
For both TSA PreCheck® and TWIC®, please:
Complete your application online before arriving
Bring the exact identity/citizenship documents listed in your online confirmation (for example, passport, birth certificate, permanent resident card, etc.)
Bring your appointment confirmation number
If you are unsure what to bring, visit the official TSA enrollment website or contact their Help Center before your appointment.
